I think every property room in every Police Department or Sheriff's Office needs a cat!

Officer Princess is a great example: every PD or SO should have a cat. I hope Dallas adopts a new property room cat, in her honor!

I hate cats, but it is amazing the affect they can have on folks. At Bagram we had big old battle-scared Afghan tom cat appropriately dubbed "landmine" that prowled about. He was one of several that became an unofficial therapy cat for the mental health docs. You'd get guys in from something horrific that wouldn't look at anyone or speak to them. After an hour patting landmine or one of his pals the kids some to come back to reality.
