8-month-old treated for cocaine after mother takes him to Buffalo party

An 8-month-old boy was at Women and Children's Hospital today after he ingested cocaine and opiates at a party his mother brought him to in Buffalo, police said.

Marciea D. Dixon, 20, of Appenheimer Avenue admitted to investigators that she took her baby boy to the party on Grider Street last night where people were smoking crack cocaine.

The baby was taken to Children's Hospital where he was receiving treatment. His condition was not immediately available.

Dixon was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree assault.
