WGAL VIDEO: Police Explain Response To Crime Scenes VIDEO: News 8 Special -- Follow The Gun PHILADELPHIA -- A weekend of gun violence left seven people dead in Philadelphia. The shootings bring the year's homicide total to 95, down from 116 at this point last year. Police have no suspects. A 36-year-old man was found fatally shot in the city's Frankford section around 8 p.m. Friday. On Saturday, police say a 24-year-old man was found shot in a car in North Philadelphia. A 20-year-old man was found shot on a West Philadelphia playground. And a 19-year-old man was found dead in Southwest Philadelphia. Early Sunday, a 62-year-old man was found dead in a car. A 46-year-old cab driver was found shot to death in his vehicle. On Sunday night, a 32-year-old man was found shot in North Philadelphia.
