20 People Questioned In Sex Fetish Case Involving MinorsDetectives Say Girls Had Sex With Up To 14 Adults, Minors MASSILLON, Ohio -- Massillon police are investigating why three girls who aren't even in high school yet are having sex with as many as 14 people, some of whom are adults. Police said they have talked to more than 20 people, and because the case involves minors, there could be several rape charges filed, reported NewsChannel5's Jonathan Costen. Police said the investigation involves two girls under 13 years old and one 14-year-old girl. "One young girl her first sexual contact went back to September 2006 when she was 11 years old, but the majority happened in a short period of time in a couple of months," said Massillon police detective Bobby Grizzard. Grizzard said he believes boys and men ages 14 to 21 were repeatedly having sex with the girls. Some of the suspects go to Massillon High School and possibly other schools in Stark County. Police said some of the people they're questioning are athletes, and that the alleged crimes were acts of consensual sex. But since the acts involved young girls, police are using the term "fetish" in their reports, Costen reported. "When we list it as a sexual fetish there are some categories we list it at," said Grizzard. "When you have especially in cases where suspects are involved with young girls previously, you would tend to believe they would have a propensity to have sex with younger girls." In all, there are 14 potential suspects, but police said there may be more. Grizzard said there is no excuse for anyone not knowing the age of the person with whom they are engaging in sexual activity. "You have to have some responsibility to at least learn what the person's age may be," he said. No one has been charged in this case yet, so police are not releasing any names.
