- Sacramento Police have arrested a man they say was exploiting young teens by claiming to be a photographer then enticing them to pose nude for photos.
Police arrested Michael John Gilles on Saturday after receiving a report on Thursday that a 13-year-old girl who had willingly got into a car with a 35-year-old man. Detectives were able to identify a possible suspect in the case, and began staking out the area near his home. That's when officers spotted him with the missing teen.
When officers searched the suspect's house, they found two other missing 14-year-olds. All three of the teens were Asian, and police believe the suspect was targeting young Asian girls.
Police believe the suspect was exploiting the teens and had been enticing them to pose for nude pictures. Police also found more than 200 Ecstasy pills at the home.
Police say their suspect has only been in the area for about two weeks. He was last known to live in the Oakland area.
A website online warns of Michael Gilles as a serial con-man. The website details a long list of "businesses" run by Gilles including printing books of models and car shows. He also has used several websites including: www.hiphop-divas.com, www.d1clothing.com, www.vulgargirl.com.
The person running the website even offers a reward for information leading to the return of money taken by Gilles.
