Police report Jennifer Lyn Jackson-Thompson was found dead in her home at Schneider's Trailer Park on Center Ridge Road. Investigators say there were no outward signs of foul play, and that the former Playboy centerfold had a history of drug abuse.

The Cuyahoga County Coroner's Office is working to determine the cause of death, however a drug overdose is suspected. She was only 40 years old. Jackson-Thompson posed for Playboy in the April 1989 issue.

 

Westlake Police found the Jackson-Thompson after getting a call from her husband. Jackson-Thompson had a troubled past, she was charged with receiving stolen property in 2005, cited for disorderly conducted in 2007, and cops say she had a history of drug abuse.

Jackson-Thompson was a native of Cleveland and was born in March 1969. She graduated from North Olmsted High School in 1986 and went on to study business and finance at Kent State University.

In addition to being a centerfold in 1989, Jackson-Thompson was one of the three finalists for the magazine's 35th anniversary pictorial. Outtakes appeared in playboy special editions several times following her centerfold appearance.
