New York Yankees pitcher Joba Chamberlain's mother faces up to two decades behind bars for selling drugs in Nebraska. Jackie Standley pleaded no contest Monday to a felony charge of delivery of a controlled substance, the Lincoln Journal Star reported. Standley, 44, will be sentenced Dec. 16, following a treatment recommendation from CenterPointe, a dual-diagnosis alcohol and drug treatment center. Cops in Lincoln collared Standley(NE) earlier this year for selling a gram of methamphetamine, worth $110, to an undercover investigator at her apartment. The pitcher's estranged mom also got herself in hot water in July, when she allegedly left a threatening voicemail on a former friend's cell phone. "You'd better disappear. Keep your eyes open," Standley reportedly said in a message left for the woman. Standley was charged with disturbing the peace after the woman played the tape for cops. She has acknowledged that her substance abuse problems damaged her relationship with her son, who was raised by his father, Harlan. "No, I wasn't the greatest mother," she said in an interview last year. But following her drug bust, Chamberlain said of Standley, "She's still my mom and I still love her." Standley's plea deal came hours before the Yankees lost Game 5 of the World Series in Philadelphia.
