UPI GREENFIELD, WISCONSIN A 14-year-old Milwaukee boy blackmailed several teenage girls into sending him provocative photos of themselves, police in Greenfield, Wis., allege. The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported Thursday the teenage boy, whose identity was not reported, is accused of coercing the girls to send him nude and semi-nude photos through the Internet and their cell phones. Greenfield police Deputy Inspector Brad Wentlandt said the teenage boy allegedly pressured the victims by threatening to spread rumors about them or distribute nude photos of other girls. The teenager also is accused of possessing nude photographs that were voluntarily sent by his former girlfriend. Authorities said after they started their investigation Sept. 21, they found 80 photos of about 50 girls on his cell phone and iPod. The teenage suspect, a student at Whitnall High School, was found guilty on charges of sexually assaulting a child previously this year. The Journal Sentinel said circuit court records show the teenage boy was placed on supervision and ordered not to possess any pornographic materials. "It's not an invasion of privacy to monitor what your children are doing with their electronic devices," Wentlandt advised parents. "If your kids are reluctant to show you, I would be concerned."
