A cheetah from an Ohio zoo is the fastest creature on record after setting a new land-speed mark -- and then breaking it moments later, according to the Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Garden.

"I hope that this becomes a thing that people look at and say, 'Wow, that is a unique animal,' " Cathryn Hilker, a zoo employee, said in a video the zoo posted of the event.
Sarah, a spotted feline just shy of 9-years-old, chased a stuffed dog across an open field as her speed was recorded -- first 6.164 seconds, then 6.130 seconds, for a 100-meter dash. The results were then displayed on a small screen for onlookers to appreciate, the zoo video shows.
While the timing appears to have set a new record, it has not yet been verified by Guinness World Records.
As for Sarah, after her sprint, she pounced on her toy, held it in her mouth and looked barely out of breath.

I'd say it was the Stuffed Dog that really set the record by outrunning the cheetah!
