SALT LAKE TRIBUNE S. JORDAN, UTAH A bull ran over an 80-year-old man on Wednesday before police in South Jordan used Tasers against it. The bull escaped from its owner near 9800 South and 1300 West and other people in the area tried to help corral it, said South Jordan police Lt. Dan Starks. The 80-year-old was among those helping, but the bull knocked him down, cutting him and causing a small amount of bleeding. Police officers arrived and used their Tasers to prevent the bull from hurting others, Starks said. The owner eventually got the animal into a trailer. Starks said the injured man went to Jordan Valley Medical Center as a precaution.
