MILWAUKEE JOURNAL JUNEAU, WISCONSIN Wisconsin authorities in two counties are looking for about 120 goats that have gone missing from two farms in recent weeks. Deputies say it's unlikely that so many goats wandered off on their own. The goats are worth an estimated $32,000, so authorities say they're treating the cases seriously. Eighteen-year-old Kiersten Zimmerman says she woke up last month to find a few hundred of her family's goats out of their Dodge County pen. She rounded them up, but noticed about 40 were missing. Then in Green Lake County last week, another farmer said about 80 goats were gone. Dodge County Sheriff Todd Nehls says it's more typical that a single goat is stolen, maybe for a religious ritual. He says his department has never dealt with something of this magnitude.
