Wendy Sewell, Therese Ziemann and Michelle Belliveau face up to six years in prison for their glue revenge ambush.

A man prosecutors say was tied up, humiliated and assaulted by his wife, two of his lovers and another woman as payback for his cheating ways has been jailed on accusations of child abuse and other misdeeds.

The 36-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested on allegations that also include theft, unlawful phone use and harassment with a death threat in a domestic abuse investigation, Fond du Lac Police Capt. Steve Klein said Wednesday.

"It is a case that keeps getting stranger," Klein said. "More information will come out in the (charging) complaint."

No charges were filed Wednesday.

Four women, including the man's wife and two women alleged to be his lovers, are accused of luring the man to a hotel room in Stockbridge last Thursday before tying him up, blindfolding him and gluing his penis to his stomach.

Each is charged with being party to false imprisonment, a felony, and one is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault, a misdemeanor.

Those charged in the case are: Wendy Sewell, 43, of Kaukauna; Therese Ziemann, 48, of Menasha, Michelle Belliveau, 43, of Neenah, and the man's wife. The AP is not naming the man to protect his identity as an alleged victim of sexual assault.

The women are free on $200 bail. Three are scheduled to appear in Calumet County court on Monday. The man's wife returns to court Aug. 17.

Devra Ayala, a Fond du Lac County assistant district attorney, did not immediately return a phone message seeking comment.

Klein said the man was arrested Tuesday in Chilton, where he had been staying in a motel, after a complaint was filed with the Fond du Lac Police Department.

The child abuse allegation involves one of his children, Klein said. He declined to say whether one of the women involved in the Stockbridge incident made the complaint that led to his arrest.

Four women, including his wife, eventually showed up to humiliate the man, who ended up with his penis glued to his stomach in a bizarre plot to punish him for a lover's quadrangle gone bad, according to the documents filed in Calumet County.

Now it's the women who face punishment, perhaps six years in prison, and at least one said Monday the story has gotten twisted and she's embarrassed. "I am disturbed.

I am upset. I am having a hard time handling life; an emotional wreck," Wendy Sewell, 43, of Kaukauna, said in a telephone interview from her home.

"I am ashamed." Sewell, Therese Ziemann, 48, of Menasha, Michelle Belliveau, 43, of Neenah, and the man's wife are charged with being party to false imprisonment, a felony.

Ziemann also is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault. The women are free on $200 cash bails. Investigators say all the women but Belliveau were romantically involved with the man.

Online court records didn't list defense attorneys for any of the women Monday. The Associated Press is not naming the man's wife to protect his identity as an alleged victim of sexual assault.

The women's plot for revenge unfolded last Thursday at the Lakeview Motel about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay in the tiny village of Stockbridge near the scenic shores of Lake Winnebago.

Criminal complaints filed Friday allege the man agreed to be bound with "sheer sheets" and blindfolded with a pillowcase for a "rub down" by Ziemann.

She instead cut off his underwear with a scissors and summoned the others to the room with a text message.

Ziemann struck the man in the face, and used Krazy Glue to attach his penis to his stomach when the other women arrived, according to the complaints.

The man told investigators he also was threatened with a gun.

Ziemann told investigators she didn't have a gun but may have told the victim, "Do you know how much I want to shoot you?"

He started screaming and the women rushed off fearful that he could get loose and hurt them but allegedly took his wallet, vehicle and cell phone.

Ziemann told investigators she met the man online through Craigslist, fell in love and paid for his use of a room at the motel for the past two months.

She said she gave him about $3,000.

Then last Wednesday, she learned from the man's wife that he was married, had other girlfriends and was "using them for money." She expected the money to be repaid, according to the documents.

During Thursday's confrontation with the man, Ziemann told investigators Sewell asked him, "Which one do you love more?" and the man's wife made a derisive remark about him being scared.

The man got free from the bed by chewing through one of his bindings, went outside and borrowed a telephone from the motel owner to call police.

Ziemann and Belliveau are sisters and Belliveau didn't do anything wrong, Sewell said Monday.

"She was just there for moral support. She wasn't even dating the guy. She stood at the door the whole time and didn't participate or nothing."

Ziemann's husband answered the telephone at their home and declined comment. There was no telephone listing for Belliveau. The man had no telephone listing in Fond du Lac.

FOX NEWS

STOCKBRIDGE, WISCONSIN

Four Wisconsin women are accused of tying up and assaulting a married man after allegedly finding out he was romantically involved with each of them.

The women are each charged with being party to false imprisonment, a felony with a maximum prison term of six years. One is charged with fourth-degree sexual assault.

Calumet County prosecutors say 48-year-old Therese A. Ziemann of Menasha lured the man to a Stockbridge motel last Thursday. Prosecutors say she was soon joined by 43-year-old Michelle Belliveau of Neenah; 43-year-old Wendy L. Sewell of Kaukauna; and the man's wife.

Authorities say Ziemann punched the man in the face and glued his penis to his stomach.

The Associated Press is not naming the victim's wife to protect the man's identity as a victim of sexual assault.

The women are free on $200 cash bails.

When I first heard the story I thought this guy must be some kind of stud. Now that I've seen the pictures, it looks to me like he was trolling the slums of Wisconsin. Lock them and him up!

The three women should be punished for the false imprisonment and maybe a misdemeanor assault. However, I think prison time is a little ridiculous. In carceration would be stupid and a waste of tax payers money. Actually, the whole thing is hilarious, and he kind of got what he deserved.I think the women should be fined and maybe put on probation for a period of time just because the did commit a felony offense.

Had this been 4 men doing this to a woman do you really think that the bond would only be $200???????????? I do not think so and even though he may have "deserved" this......had it been the other way around they would be in prison for a LONG time to come.......as it is though I bet the women don't see a night in jail........

They should have glued it the other way. No prison time for a two inch crime. I do believe the guy is nuts for trying to fool that many at one time. Yes it is a crime but we all want justice for those girls. They couldn't find enough to cut off, the guy is lucky lucky lucky he isn't a she...

Did he probably get what he deserved? Setting aside the law...of course! As far as the women go, I'm not so sure about prison time, but they deserve to be tried on the felony charges. Jail time for sure w/ probation. Again, like flewster said, if this had been four men and they glued together a female's down under...the public would be OUTRAGED and everyone one would be out to hang the men. The double standard is already showing since they are out on only $200 cash...thats too bad.

A crime is a crime and shaming him is one thing, but the assault an penis gluing is not only just wrong, but crossed the line. Being scorned is not a defense to prosecution. I say the ring leader gets 18 months and the rest get six months with a probation tail for all of them. I bet he won't do that again though!

Call me crazy, but doesn't the article say that: "Ziemann told investigators she met the man online through Craigslist, fell in love and paid for his use of a room at the motel for the past two months"? Then later it says, "Ziemann's husband answered the telephone at their home and declined comment." Wasn't Ziemann the one who punched and glued the "victim"? She obviously cheated on her man, but then has different standards when she thinks her lover is cheating on her!! She should do jail time. No question about it.

The women should be charged. But, prison would be too much. Some probation and community service would teach them not to take things into their own hands without placing too much burden on the CJS.

The women should be charged, yes because there was no self defense in what they did, however I believe in the old addage, "Eye for an eye, dick for a dick."

I'd say the man was a dog for playing all of these women, but if I were them I think I would have added glitter, too. Community service for them is good: they can glue things down in a new Habitat for Humanity house or something. Next time, he should date knitters!

In my opinoion, there's no excuse for an assault on his body by those women, but think of his children, seeing their dad act like this (cheating, etc.)...

88pdx: Ooops, I was being facetious... uh... failed sarcasm... my bad...
I think thirty days and probation for a year would keep their hands on craft materials and off of some man's Craigslist privates. It's assault! Assault's still illegal last I checked.

I bet the married woman's husband doesn't sleep too well at night, hides the superglue and only lets her use Elmer's glue that's washable. And never lets her near the "good" scissors!

Yes this was assult and and being held as a hostage. Tied up and held against his will. This could have has serious results. It doesn't matter that he was 100% wrong. They were wrong and should pay. If three men did this to a woman this would be all over the news. AND the bail wpould be more like $200,000.
